The TICAD research group encourages students to conduct research

The information and communication technologies for disabilities research group (TICAD for its acronym in Spanish) in our branch campus in Guayquil held a meeting for research seedbed students, a total of 100 students who major in computing attended.
 
The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the work carried out by the research seedbed students from TICAD in its academic and scientific production, as well as contribute in the group's research school. 
 
 "These activities allow students to turn into researchers, improve their competencies and contribute to society by providing innovative projects", said Alice Naranjo, coordinator of the TICAD research group.
 
These are some of the activities that were held during the meeting:
 
- Conferences- TICAD and its support to develop academic research projects
 
- How to write a scientific article?
 
- Presentation of articles 
 
- Experiences in the research seedbed group
 
- Students were awarded certificates for their research
 
- Special recognitions were awarded to the best articles
 
Students in this research group also take part in scientific events and congresses, training courses on ICTs for inclusion and the presentation of papers.
 
"Each year the TICAD research group holds several activities for students, they can get together to share ideas and create great projects", said Naranjo.
