Students presented projects related to control and automation

Winners of the "Controlziño 2019" competition

 

The Coworking office in our branch campus in Guayaquil held a competition in Industrial Control and Automation which is part of the "Control Systems Society of the IEEE branch in UPS; the competition was titled "Controlziño 2019".

The aim of the competition was to encourage students to conduct research and apply all the knowledge they have acquired regarding industrial control and automation so they can create innovative prototypes. "This will allow all students in the university to present innovative projects", said Monica Miranda, coordinator of the competition.

The projects and prototypes were evaluated by representatives of companies in the automation and control sector, they were in charge of evaluating the projects.
