The theater group in our branch campus in Quito performed the play written by Arthur Miller in 1962 based on the Salem Witches. It is the story of three young ladies that created a scandal in the small town which was full of very strict religious norms.

This is one of the most important plays of the twentieth century, winner of the Tony Award in 1953, and its importance lies in the universality of its themes, which are still valid today: distrust, persecution, repression and ambition of power at the expense of any means.

The actors were: Scarlet Cisneros, Nicolás Carrera, Cristina Garzón, Jonathan Castro, Camila Cárdenas, Josué Gómez, Giselle Jukka, Isaac Hinojosa, Michelle Gortaire, David Dueñas, Dimity Jácome, Priscila Guerra, Xavier Paredes, Michelle Quijije, Xavier Sanabria, Viviana Tituaña and Mauricio Sharupi.

The clothing was in charge of Natalia Robelly, lighting: Germán Calvache; maping and digital scenography: Victor Hugo Moya and the director was Professor Juan Pablo Acosta
