The university's branch campus in Guayaquil held a closing ceremony for the course on Neuroeducation applied to higher education which was aimed at professors and administrative staff. The course was organized by our university and the School of Industrial Organization from Spain.

It was an 18-week course divided into different modules, some which were held on campus and others online. Some of the topics covered in the course were: the social, motivational and emotional brain and pedagogical strategies applied in the classroom.

"The aim of the course is to improve academic performance in higher education. Teach people how we can enhance teaching learning processes from the brain", stated one of the professors of the course.

At the same time, the third edition of the training course for 60 more professors got underway. "This is not programming towards students, but rather a way to have another teaching process for them," said Lenin Cevallos, professor of the Electronics and Automation Engineering undergraduate program.

Professors have taken the course as an opportunity to improve and understand the learning process, choosing to innovate within the classroom so that students can develop their theoretical and practical knowledge in an integral manner. "We hope that from now on teachers apply this in their educational practice, in their teaching-learning process and that it will be beneficial for students", said the General Academic Coordinator.
