During the month of June, the university' branch campus in Guayaquil has held several webinars aimed at the university community and the overall public on different topics such as education, environment, biotechnology, psychology, communication, mechatronics, electronics, automation and industrial engineering. 

Virgilio Ordoñez, who led a webinar organized by the environmental and biotechnology engineering undergraduate programs, believes these activities foster knowledge in society. "Professionals must engage with the community and identify opportunities to help create projects that will improve people's lives", he said. 

Psychology webinars will enable participants to learn how to prioritize the most important aspects in their lives. "Participants will learn how to handle stress and techniques that can help use time efficiently", said Margarita Peralta, who led the psychology webinar. 

On the other hand, the seminar organized by the Education undergraduate program is aimed at developing basic skills in philosophical, social and pedagogical issues for online education. Education makes radical changes, so professors need to constantly check on students' knowledge during their academic journey.

In the field of Civil Engineering, knowing the housing market will become an important process because it helps students start a business.

There were other seminars where students learned about the essential software tools and operations in different areas, as well as scientific writing webinars for those interested in the production of academic articles.
