On July 1st, the social communication major and David Lasso at UPS-Quito organized an event titled "festival Cine Mochila" where 250 people attended to discuss and analyze cinema.

The attendees first watched the Ecuadorian movie "Cuando me toque a mí" by Victor Arregui and then talked about it with its director from a communicational and cultural perspective.

The film festival played a total three Ecuadorian movies, documentaries and fiction. The second movie "Instanted de campaña" directed by Tomas Astudillo, was displayed on July 9th, and the third "Javier con I,  Intag" directed by Pocho Alvarez will be displayed on July 15th .

This event gave students and professors the opportunity to share experiences, talk, analyze and debate on audiovisual culture in our country.
