On September 17th and 18th, UPS held a seminar on Project Management for 65 researchers from Cuenca and Guayaquil. The seminar, which will take place until December, was led by Dr. Ignacio de los Rios from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Some of the topics covered by Dr. De los Rios were: "The importance of developing skills and competencies such as communication, problem solving, teamwork, an open attitude to change, knowledge creation, evidence and results" and ""Analysis of practical cases and identifying challenging situations in technical, behavioral and contextual competencies".

The topics being covered are extremely important in order to encourage sustainable development in projects being carried out by UPS research groups.
