On June 24th, the university's branch in Cuenca held a graduation ceremony for 93 students who majored in business administration accounting, environmental engineering, computer engineering, electronic engineering, automotive mechanical engineering, communication, physical education and occupation psychology.
UPS president Javier Herrán took part in the ceremony and congratulated the new professionals who will be the future of our country and invited them to be part of the country's progress.
During their speeches, Julio Chuqui and Miryan Loaiza, directors of physical education and environmental engineering, respectively, said that this was the end of an important stage but that their education and studies are not over since in life you must update your knowledge permanently.
The UPS Vice President in Cuenca, Cesar Vasquez, was in charge of making students take oath and said that it is important for them to have finished their studies but that they must continue updating their knowledge because we never stop learning and we are constantly evolving.
Ruth Cornejo who majored in communication and Daniel Pulla who majored in computer engineering spoke on behalf of the students and were very thankful with professors for being part of their education and encouraging them to finish their studies.
