During the International Book Fair held in La Habana, Rene Unda Lara and Daniel Llanos Erazo presented one of the articles from their book "Movimientos juveniles y revoluciones sociales en el siglo XXI". The book was written along with 14 other researchers from 7 Latin American countries; the event was held on February 16th.

The article entitled "Jóvenes y sociedad. Algunas cuestiones para una revisión conceptual de la sociología de la juventud" is part of 9 articles on several topics regarding the participation of young people in political processes in America.

The book, which was coordinated by Pablo Vommaro, was published by Ruth Casa Editorial and is part of Cuadernos de Pensamiento Critico. The book is presided by Francois Houtart who write the presentation of the book: "The name of the publishing house is inspired in the biblical passage that invites us to appreciate the meaning of solidarity as a virtue and values that incites us reflect, believe and create with coherence, to be loyal and brave and give people back their dignity."

The article written by professors Unda and Llanos was presented by the Cuban researcher Maria Isabel Dominguez who said "…the writers bring back the debate on some key issues for research and social practice, from existing social representations about youth, the epistemological break ups needed to think about social and institutional changes, particularly the education system and the labor market, as well as cultural contexts, the emergence of ICT's and the changes in the scenario of collective action, all of which impact the condition of the youth and its visibility.
