The university's branch campus in Guayaquil honored Maria Auxiliadora by holding several activities with the participation of professors, students and administrative staff from the 19th to the 24th of May.

The activities were coordinated by the pastoral department; there was mass, consecration of children  to Maria Auxiliadora, triduum and songs.

The religious activiites were presided by Father Luciano Bellini, Father Ivan Segarra and Father Juanito Arias. The celebrations reminded people of the importance of Mary for Catholics and especially for salesians. "The triduum is a period of three days for prayer, it is typical of the catholic church before a feast", said Juan Jose Rocha, assistant of the pastoral department.

"Consecration is an act of commitment to the values and the example given to us by Mary Auxiliadora", said Rocha.

On May 24th, Day of Maria Auxiliadora, several bands from salesian high schools (Domingo Comín, Cristóbal Comín, Domingo Savio) presented a music program to honor the virgin,
