Our branch campus in Guayaquil signed an agreement with the municipality of Guayaquil and other higher education institutions. The event was attended by Raul Alvarez, vice president of the university’s branch campus in Guayaquil, who signed the agreement on behalf of Juan Cardenas, UPS president. 

The agreement will enable students majoring in architecture and civil engineering to carry out internships in the municipality’s construction department. The aim is that future professionals acquire experience in their field.

 
Raúl Álvarez stressed the importance of this agreement for students’ education and its impact on the community: "This agreement not only strengthens our academic cooperation, but also contributes to society, it gives our students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in projects that directly benefit our city."

 
The agreement also includes the implementation of security measures and logistics support to guarantee students’ safety during their internships. At the end, students will receive a certificate that endorses their participation and contribution to the project.
