Our branch campus in Guayaquil held several training sessions for professors in order to strengthen their knowledge and skills. 

 

It is a 40 hour course that will be divided into 20 on campus hours and 20 hours of autonomous work. "The courses are related to the skills and the knowledge professors need in order to help their students achieve their goals", said Jaime Zapata, academic coordinator in Guayaquil.

 

Professors will attend a training course according to their area. The topics will be:

 

- Effective methodological strategies applied to university education.

 

- Didactics for education on the subjects of reason and faith based on Salesian charism.

 

- Personal coaching applied to work teams

 

- Digital tools for communicators

 

- Operating finance

 

- PROFINET communication between programmable controllers

 

- IoT: Fundamentals and applications

 

- Design of experiments

 

- Productive skills: Writing and speaking for language development   

 

"Training courses for professors is very significant for educational innovation and to acquire new tools that can be implemented in the classroom, methodologies with new technology that will provide better academic performance for students", said Zapata.
