Industrial Process Research Group - GIPI

The Industrial Process Research Group (GIPI for its acronym in Spanish) was created in 2014 by teachers from different majors in order to respond to phenomena related to industrialization, especially of raw materials, which involves a large number of machines, systems or processes. Today’s marked technological development provides greater and better alternatives, which if implemented and integrated correctly, generate optimal production levels.

There is great scientific development around the design, control, automation and optimization of industrial processes, its application or implementation within conventional industry does not occur directly. In addition to knowing the new technologies and scientific advances available today, it is essential to obtain a representation that is as close as possible to the reality of the system, plant, machine or process on which you want to intervene, this is known as modeling.
