The university's Abya Yala Publishing House presented the book titled "Communication, development and politics" written by students and professors from the communication undergraduate program and coordinated by Narcisa Medranda and Nina Aguilar.

Authors seek to foster debate and scientific production through articles in order to train future communicators who will be capable of creating participatory processes and communication products.

The book is divided into two parts: the first contains the reflections of professors and researchers in the area of communication, while the second has reflections of professors and alumni.
