A formal meeting attended by the university's main officials, professors and students was held to end the celebrations of the 15th anniversary of the Business Administration major in Cuenca.

Maria Fernanda Guevara, director of the business administration major, highlighted the work done during these 15 years and said she felt proud to celebrate it as the director. She looked back at all the professionals who have led this major and have been a fundamental part of its history and development. She guaranteed she would keep working hard for students' wellbeing. 

The UPS General Vice President, Luis Tobar Pesantez, looked back at the beginnings of this major, the work done to get an approval from the university's officials and national institutions. He also recalled several professors who were part of the beginnings of the major, some of whom are still part of the university. He also remembered business administration graduates who currently work in several public and private institutions. 

UPS president Javier Herran said he was happy to share the celebration with the entire university community. He said the celebration demonstrates the effort made to build a major take takes into account the dynamics of society and that has educated professionals the university is proud of.

The ceremony came to a close with the presentation from the choir group led by professor Vicente Martinez.
