“Ingenius”, the university’s journal on Science and Technology has been indexed in Scopus. Ingenius publishes papers on mechanical engineering, computer science, electric and electronic engineering. 

John Calle Siguencia, chief editor of Ingenius, said “We are proud to have achieved this goal thanks to the joint work between the editorial board, the scientific council, the general editor and the support of university officials. We are very happy to show the quality of our publication in Scopues”. 

Ingenius is the first Ecuadorian journal in the field of engineering to be indexed in Scopus. There are currently four journals from Universidad Politecnica Salesiana in Scopus; this makes it the university with the most journals in this prestigious database.
