1st meeting on “Early Childhood”

The early education undergraduate program in our branch campus in Guayaquil organized the 1st meeting on “Early Childhood” with the participation of the World Organization for Early Childhood Education (OMEP), the National Institute of Educational Assessment (INEVAL) and UNESCO.
The aim was to reflect on the importance of early education teachers. There were several workshops, conferences, presentations, posters and other innovative academic activities.
Susana Pombo, director of the early education undergraduate program, said “the aim of the meeting is to have an opportunity to discuss early education with professors and strengthen practices for children’s social and personal development, linguistic skills and inclusive education.”
Nataly Ayala, student majoring in early education, said “it was a very enriching experience, all the presentations were very important, they stressed the topic of games as a necessary resource to develop an appropriate learning environment for children.”
