Our branch campus in Cuenca celebrated Don Bosco in order to strengthen the university community’s Salesian identity and spirit. The celebration began with a procession around the university premises and then to the university chapel to celebrate mass which was led by Father Juan Cardenas, Father Luis Angel Banegas and Father Felipe Mayordomo. 

All week long, there were several activities for students, professors and administrative staff. There was a reels contests and a triduum dedicated to Don Bosco and to discuss the values of the preventive system, which is essential to Salesian education.   

After mass, the university community played several traditional games and strengthened ties of friendship. They also raffled several prizes for those who completed a stamp album. The album helped people learn more about Don Bosco’s life, the mission of Salesians and the history of the university.

The celebration strengthened the university community’s commitment to the university’s values of education.
