A talk on how love doesn't make it all possible
Students in our branch campus in Guayaquil majoring in psychology attended the event titled "love doesn't make it all possible" which analyzed aspects of current love relationships and the role of psychology.
The event started by first watching the movie titled marriage story; participants analyzed the fact that besides there being love between the couple, the relationship became destructive due to the lack of communication, sharing and others.
They discussed factors that influence people to seek or reject a relationship as well as bachelorhood.
There was also a Keynote speech "Love doesn't make it all possible" that presented a study on the contemporary era which refers to two symptoms: the immediate and the incessant search for individual satisfaction. "One of the biggest issues psychologists face are precisely these problems about love, that is to say, the difficulty in connecting with each other, the lack of commitment and bachelorhood is always present," said Lisbeth Ipiales, professor.
These events are attended by the renowned Argentine psychoanalyst Oscar Zack, Carlos Quezada, Eduardo Espinoza, Ana Ricaurte, Luis Iriarte and Julia Avilés. According to experts, this is mainly due to the difficulty of not giving in situations related to couples, the acts related to the time itself, currently no one is willing to leave anything of their own to accept something from the other.
