A talk on putting ideas into action
Students and professors from the business administration undergraduate program attended the talk titled "It's not about an idea, it's about the implementation" led by Luis Duval, founder and CEO of Four Two One, located in San Francisco California.
The aim of the talk was to advise and provide recommendations on how to start a business through innovation, development, execution of ideas and the use of technologies motivating UPS students to leave their comfort zone and carry out their business ideas.
Around 80 students attended and had the opportunity to interact with the speaker, clear their doubts and receive free advice on their projects. "This type of event allows the development of new ideas. What we are looking for is to offer students, another perspective that makes innovation work and what can be done about it," said Fabián Villacrés, director of the Business Administration undergraduate program.
"Academia enables me to share my experiences and knowledge with university students, I take the opportunity to do it every time I come to Ecuador, they can contact me to give them professional advice and give them all the support in the execution of the projects they have ", said Duval.
