An event to acknowledge students' academic distinction

Our branch campus in Quito held an event to acknowledge students from every major who had the best grade point average during last semester. Thanks to their outstanding performance, these students were awarded the "Academic Distinction" Scholarship for next semester. The event was organized by the well-being department and the vice president’s Office in Quito.
A total of 19 students majoring in: Agriculture, Business Administration, Biotechnology, Communication, Accounting and Auditing, Law, Multimedia Design, Education and Philosophy, Early Childhood Education, Basic Education, Electricity, Electronics and Automation, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Digital Business, Physical Activity Pedagogy, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Biomedicine were acknowledged for their effort, perseverance, and academic excellence. This achievement demonstrates that commitment to knowledge opens doors and paves the way for a promising future.
The ceremony included a talk where students shared study techniques, tips, and recommendations based on their own experience. Micaela Proaño, a first-semester Early Childhood Education student, said, "I used the Pomodoro method to study, which is about 30 minutes of study time and 5 minutes of rest." Cristian Lita, a seventh-semester Education and Philosophy student, stressed the importance of planning schedules and choosing the right study location to concentrate and learn better.
María Sol Villagómez, vice president of our campus in Quito, congratulated students, their families, and directors, for their effort and dedication. "We are proud and delighted by the quality of our students' performance."
Johana Morales, a fifth-semester Business Administration student, said that “receiving this scholarship not only represents recognition of our academic efforts, but also a reminder that dedication, perseverance, and a passion for learning brings positive results. Behind every outstanding GPA are hours of study, personal sacrifices, and often challenges we have had to face in silence. “I want to thank the university for believing in our potential. We promise to continue doing our best.”
