Our branch campus in Quito held an exhibition to present the work carried out by students majoring in architecture. There were mockups, models with different painting techniques, structures and materials. The aim of the exhibition was to demonstrate the skills and knowledge learned by students in class.
 
The inauguration was attended by UPS president Juan Cardenas, the vice president of the university’s branch campus in Quito, Maria Sol Villagomez; the director of the architecture undergraduate program in Quito, Doris Andrade; the director of the architecture undergraduate program in Cuenca, Edgar Gordillo; professors Miriam Torres and Veronica Guerrero, and a student representative, Nicole Delgado. 

“The projects have a combination of several areas such as mathematics, design and art, and are also combined with students’ creativity, imagination and innovation”, said UPS president Juan Cardenas. 

Students also visited Graiman to learn more about the materials they use for construction, there was a bridge building competition and the winners were: Kleber Bosque, Jonathan Iza and Dayane Vinueza, first place; Luis SIgcha, Jose Ramirrez and Marlon Pilatasig, second place and Alejandra Ramos and Maria del Carmen Chuquin, third place
