The student services department at UPS-Cuenca announces that the scholarship program CERS for the March – August 2016 semester is now open. The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial aid for students with socioeconomic difficulties. 

RECEPTION OF FORMS:

Date: from November 16th to December 18th 

Place: Cornelio Merchan building, student services department

Time: Monday to Firday from 8am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 6pm / Saturday from 9am to 11am

Requirements needed for the CERS program:

-    Be a regular student at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana
-    Have a minimum grade point average of 75/100 in the last semester (September 2015 – February 2016)
-    Having taken at least 60% of the credits in the curriculum during the previous semester.
-    Having passed all your subjects the previous semester. 

Required Documents:

•    Download and fill in the socioeconomic form
•    A letter of application to the director of the Student Services department (Nancy Chumbay). The letter must be written sent through the university’s requirements system, printed and taken to the interview. 
•    A payroll or an affidavit of those who contribute to their family’s economy
•    The most recent receipt of three basic services (electricity, phone or water  bill)
•    Receipt of Property tax payment
•    Lease contract or a document which demonstrates the payment of rent
•    In case you have a car, a copy of the registration
•    Copy of student’s and his / her parents’ ID
•    Amortization chart, in case of a bank loan
•    In case the Student Services department requires additional information, the student will be notified in advance.
