The course and workshops on communication and journalism which was organized by the university's communication and culture department at UPS-Guayaquil came to end.

The course covered topics such as: journalistic writing, oral expression, graphic design, handling cameras, editing and video production. The instructors were Carlos Castillo, Ronald Álvarez, Mariella Velasteguí, Ninibeth Bustamante and César Andrade.

The course was aimed at students who belong to one of the following salesian groups: NotiUPS newspaper, Utopía magazine, UPS Channel television, as well as students majoring in communication and journalism at UPS-Guayaquil and other universities such as Universidad Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte (ULVR), Universidad de Guayaquil (FACSO) and Universidad de Milagro (UDM).

"These workshops help students learn new things that will later be useful in their professional lives", said Cesar Andrade.
