Our branch campus in Cuenca held several activities during “Student Week” from May 19th to 22nd. There were workshops, talks, an entrepreneurship fair , sports events and more. The activities allowed students to present their ideas, projects and skills, as well as strengthen innovation and leadership.

Maria Jose Brito, president of the students’ union in Cuenca, said these events help students develop their skills, leadership and commitment towards the university. “It has been challenging to lead the students’ union, but I am happy because students have enjoyed the activities this week.”

Organizing these events is thinking about young people, recognizing the importance of dedicating a special week to students so they can express their talents and creativity. Student Week becomes an opportunity to strengthen their comprehensive education and foster a sense of community, commitment, and personal growth.
