The course "Expert in ICT and disability" was held at UPS

Rafael Sanchez Montoya, PHD, ICT and disability representative before UNESCO conducted the first international course titled "Expert in ICT and disability"at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana.

Professor Rafael Sánchez highlighted the progress science and technology has had on disability and how it is being used to benefit disabled people.

Dr. Rafael Sánchez Montoya is a full professor and an international consultant at Universidad de Cadiz. He has written several international books and articles on technologies and disability and he is a representative of the Creatica Fundación Free. 32 people who work within the field of disabilities and come from cities like Guayaquil, Milagro, Quito, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, and Riobamba attended this course

This training course will last approximately a year. There will be two more meetings and once this is over the International Congress "Inclusive Community" FIDA 2015- SICA, which is held in different Latin American countries, will begin.  

These types of courses used to be conducted only in countries like Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico, but now thanks to the support of Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, they can be held in Ecuador.
