52 representatives from public and private companies in the city of Cuenca and the province of Azuay took part in the first edition of the 2022 UPS Business Tour, an event aimed at presenting the university’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs, its projects that benefit society, community engagement activities, its infrastructure and more. 

Juan Pablo Salgado, head of research at the university, said the idea is to strengthen ties between the university and companies and find areas in which they can work together such as internships and community engagement projects.
