Graduation ceremony for 132 students in our branch campus in Quito

Our branch campus in Quito held a graduation ceremony for 132 students who successfully completed their undergraduate programs in bilingual intercultural education, anthropology, theology and management for local development, which are all online programs; as well as business administration, biotechnology, communication, accounting and auditing, basic education, early education, management and leadership, and psychology.
The ceremony was presided by Maria Sol Villagomez, vice president of our branch campus in Quito; Pablo Farfan, director of the online undergraduate programs; Sebastian Granda, director of the bilingual intercultural education program; Fernando Garcés, director of anthropology; Ana Maria Narváez, director of basic and early education; Grace Moreano, director of business administration; Freddy Araque, director of accounting and auditing; Ximena Andrade, director of psychology; Maria Elena Maldonado, director of biotechnology; Esteban Inga, coordinator of research; and professors Viviana Montalvo, Dunia Ojeda and Roberto Sánchez.
Maria Sol Villagomez and Ana Maria Narváez were in charge of the opening ceremony. “The university has adapted to new modes of study, innovative methodologies and technological equipment, in order to respond to our mission of being good Christians and honest citizens”, said Ana Maria Narváez.
On behalf of all the students, Enma Torres stressed the work carried out by the university and its professors, who have been great support during all these years. “We had to overcome great challenges and find a way to make time to be parents, spouses, children, brothers, workers and students”, she said.
Kelly Gualichico thanked her family, professors and the entire university. “A chapter of our lives comes to an end, but another starts. It is time to take separate paths and keep working hard to achieve all our goals”, she said.
