Graduation ceremony of the first class of Law Students in our branch campus in Cuenca

Our branch campus in Cuenca held a graduation ceremony for the first ten graduates of the Law major. University officials and representatives from the judicial branch and the government attended the ceremony.

 

Father Juan Cárdenas Tapia, UPS president, led the ceremony along with Fernando Pesántez, general vice president; Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca; Ángela Flores, academic coordinator; and Andrés Cordero, director of the Law undergraduate program. Judges from the Provincial Court of Justice of Azuay, members of the Judicial Council, representatives of the Bar Association, and the Governor were also there.


  
During the ceremony, they stressed the comprehensive education received by our new professionals who have been taught with high academic standards in several areas of law, both in the public and private sectors. The university prepares lawyers who are qualified to work in the judicial system, legal consultancy, international law, and other fields.
