Management of direct composite resin: Biology and aesthetics.
The community engagement department and the dentistry major in our branch campus in Guayaquil invite students, professors, and professionals in the field to participate in this event, which aims to strengthen the clinical and theoretical skills of fifth- and sixth-semester Dentistry students in the management of direct composite resin in the posterior region. This event integrates biological foundations, aesthetic principles, and supervised clinical practice based on updated protocols.
The event will is divided into two parts: an intensive theoretical session with a clinical focus, and a practical session where students will perform different types of preparations on dental models, under the supervision of professors and guided by Dr. Javier Lema, an oral rehabilitation specialist.
The content will be based on updated scientific literature and standardized clinical protocols and will focus on achieving efficient, minimally invasive preparations.
