On April 28 the university held a photography exhibition which was organized by the communication major and where students presented their best photographs. During the exhibition, UPS officials selected the winners whose photographs were used for this semester's university notebook.

UPS President Javier Herran, UPS-Quito Vice President Jose Juncosa, communication faculty director Maria Ramirez and photography professor Alexandra Noboa attend the exhibition. The photographs which were taken by first year students showed various aspects of everyday life in Quito, Maria Ramirez gave the opening speech and Victor Jimenez spoke on behalf of the students to thank their professors for their teachings.

UPS president Javier Herran congratulated all the students and them for their effort and commitment. The winners were: Daniela Cevallos (first place), Damaris Constante  Kevin Cruz, were given a special recognition.
