Universidad Politecnica Salesiana and the Abya Yala Publishing House presented the book titled "Investigaciones Teológicas Eclesiales". A book written by 11 professors – researchers who did their doctoral studies in Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín (Colombia).

UPS president Juan Cardenas stated that the topics invite readers to an ecclesial theological reflection and the conclusions and recommendations become possible topics for the continuity of research for the Church; he invited everyone to enjoy the book and congratulated the authors for their work.

Conrado Giraldo Zuluaga, professor at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín, presented the book and highlighted the work done by the authors to dedicate a period of their lives to systematically and in a disciplined manner track: databases and read books in libraries, in addition, he stressed that they have done an interesting and rich work because there are reflections that speak of the experience of faith. He stated that the authors are theologians who believe but also live.

Father Marcelo Farfán, General Coordinator of the IUS, expressed his gratitude to UPS for its support in making the book possible and explained that the publications are the result of a long research process. He indicated the importance of what is behind these publications, such as a group of doctoral students, who made a big effort to publish their articles.

 Finally, Fernando Pesántez, General vice president of UPS, stated that for Universidad Politécnica Salesiana it is a great satisfaction to have teachers who, in addition to teaching their classes, are an example in the field of research.
