Signing of two agreements
Our branch campus in Cuenca, signed two new inter-institutional cooperation agreements this week "Unidad Educativa Santo Domingo de Guzmán" and the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES for its acronym in Spanish).
The agreement established with the MIES, aims to develop joint actions in the field of research, pre-professional practices, monitoring to graduates, internships, links with society and continuing education in all study modalities at technical, technological levels, undergraduate and post graduate programs.
The agreement signed with "Unidad Educativa Santo Domingo de Guzmán", which is located in the province of Azuay, will allow undergraduate and post graduate students to carry out benefit from mutual collaboration to promote methods to connect academic activities that promote interinstitutional processes.
Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca, stated that these agreements will allow both institutions to carry out several projects that will allow students to experience the professional reality.
Felipe Moscoso Pineda Coordinator of the MIES, thanked the university officials because it is important to be able to sign this agreement that will directly benefit those most in need. This is important because it enables students to have professional practices based on current realities.
Mariana García, was pleased with the signing of this agreement, she said she was sure that it would benefit both institutions because she knows the academic quality of UPS.
