Strengthening community engagement projects.

Representatives of Fundación Salesian PACES, Universidad Politecnica Salesiana (UPS)- Cuenca and Comunidad Tecnico Salesiano visited several Salesian sites located in Feria Libre and 9 de octubre. The idea is to organize more community engagement projects with children and their families in this area.
The projects carried out by the university and PACES are supported by CEDIA and the municipality of Cuenca, for example ETAPA which will provide internet access to children with limited resources. The overall aim is to improve the quality of life of people in risk, especially children.
Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca; Edgar Gordillo, director of Fundación PACES; Juan Flores, director of the Tecnico Salesiano Community; and Fernando Solorzano, director of the education undergraduate program, were there to witness people's current situation.
