In order to foster the correct use of sources and bibliographic references, students majoring in intercultural education were trained on the use of Zotero, a software to manage bibliographic data and related research materials.

The training sessions, which were attended by a great number students and alumni, was led by professor Luis Peña. UPS-Quito Vice President Jose Juncosa was also there to talk to students about the course.

Zotero manages bibliographic data and works well with Firefox Mozilla, it helps manage citations and references in the text processor using different formats such as APA, Chicago and others. This software enables people to work on academic projects in an easier and more effective manner.
