Our branch campus in Guayaquil held a fair to present its community engagement projects; students from the 23 undergraduate programs presented their projects and the impact they’ve had on society.

Each project was innovative and socially responsible, and it demonstrated students’ abilities and dedication. Carolina Marmol, director of the community engagement department in Guayaquil, stressed the importance of this event for students. “During the fair, people learned about the projects carried out by our students and how they can change society”.

The university recognizes the importance of its role in today's society and seeks to have effective participation through programs and projects that address current challenges, such as poverty, inequality, injustice and violence. Luis Valverde, a multimedia design student, said: "We worked with eight other students on a project in the “El Morro” district and produced digital content for the benefit of the community and local entrepreneurs".

The fair demonstrates the university’s commitment to social development and its ability to generate positive impact on society through higher education.
