Our branch campus in Cuenca held a talk titled “Innovation, entrepreneurship and community strengthening; the speaker was Verónica Peralta, Co-Founder of Paccari chocolate company, who encouraged participants to find new, creative and innovative ways to face business challenges and overcome them. 

She also spoke about how the company was founded in 2002 by Santiago Peralta and Carla Barboto and how they managed to export their products. During the talk, participants tasted a variety of chocolates made by Paccari with local and sustainable ingredients.

The university community constantly supports ideas, projects and companies that contribute to a prosperous and sustainable future. It encourages its students to be innovative and create new ventures that can change society.
