During our traditional “Cultural Friday” program, our branch campus in Cuenca presented the 4th Taki Urku Traditional Music and Dance Gala. The welcome speech was led by Wilson Quintuña, who welcomed everyone to the event.

The following music and dance groups performed at the event: Tumipampa y Pumapungo, Muyundi danzas Tradiciones from our branch campus in Quito, Danza Folklórica y Música Andina Uyayca Pachamama from Universidad Nacional de Educación (UNAE). 

 
4 recognitions were awarded to the dance group from our branch campus in Quito, the Tumipampa dance group from our branch campus in Cuenca, the music and dance group from UNAE and the pumapungo music group from Cuenca, for their work in the field of dance and music. The aim of the recognitions is to encourage these groups to continue their work to promote art and culture.
