The Cultural Wednesday Program presents the play: “Don Anacleto Avaro”

The communication and culture department and the “Katharsis” cultural group in our branch campus in Guayaquil invite the university community and the general public to our Cultural Wednesday Program which will present the play “Don Anacleto Avaro”. The play shows how Don Anacleto's life is shaken up, leading him to question the way he sees the world. A mysterious voice will appear to show him that perhaps the true "magic" is giving.
"Don Anacleto Avaro" written by Chilean author Isidora Aguirre is about a character who never lets go of a penny! His life, marked by stinginess and his relationship with his employee Mariquita, is turned upside down by the unexpected arrival of a notary with surprising news, and the appearance of a man named Juan Malulo, who claims to have magical powers.
