The UPS-Cuenca Energy Research Group made up by Julio Viola, José Restrepo, Flavio Quizhpi and José Aller presented the paper "Predictive control of a three-phase power converter coupled with LCL filter" at the 2015 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT, 2015) in Sevilla, Spain from March 17-19.

This scientific and academic event is one of the annual emblematic conferences held by the IEEE industrial electronic society which disseminates new ideas, research and projects in the field of intelligent control systems, computing, robotics, communications and automation, acquisition and signal processing, vision systems and power electronics.

The IEEE ICIT is indexed to SCOPUS through the IEEE explorer platform and it has over 600 scientists from 82 countries, and is one of the biggest scientific events in the field of engineering worldwide. 

The research group members thanked the UPS authorities for all their support and said UPS is now better known in the international research community for its contributions.
