Every year our university takes part in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and this time it stands out in the World University Ranking by subject, which details the best universities in the world according to different subjects. Our university was placed in the computer science and engineering areas. 
Each area uses 13 performance indicators which is used in the World Ranking of Universities 2022, these indicators are grouped into five aspects:

• International perspective: International staff, community engagement, students and research collaborations.

• Teaching: Learning environment at national and international level.

• Research: Impact, income and reputation.

• Citations: Influence of research

• Industry income: Knowledge transfer and innovation.

The computer science subject ranks UPS in second place nationwide and 601 -800 worldwide

The engineering subject ranks UPS in second place nationwide and 801 – 1000 worldwide
