The Robotics Club participated in the Robochallenge 2019

The robotics club from our branch campus in Guayaquil participated in the 3rd International Tournament "Robochallenge Mexico 2019" organized by the Mexican Mechatronics Association. The tournament was held in Universidad Aeronautica de Queretaro from the 16th to the 18th of May.
Students in the robotics club study electronic engineering and electronic and automation engineering; they competed against Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru and Mexico. "The results they obtained are due to their effort and hard work", said Byron Lima, coordinator of the robotics club in Guayaquil.

Students received several prizes, such as money to buy electronic equipment that can be implemented in their projects. Also, they will be able to compete in other international events like the Robotic People Fest 2019 (Colombia), Malaysia Special Award and Riotronic.
"These events help students increase their sense of belonging to our institution and allow them acquire the skills needed to solve problems under pressure", said Byron Lima.
