UPS researchers Arnaldo Matute, Julio Viola, José Restrepo, José Aller and Flavio Quishpi presented their paper titled "Switched Reluctance Machine Modeling Applied on a MRAC Scheme" in the LASCAS 2015 Conference in Montevideo, Uruguay.

This is the third consecutive year UPS takes part in this international event which gives the university greater prestige internationally. The paper has an ISBN code and will be included in SCOPUS through IEEE.

The group members thanked the university directors for all their support and said these international events allow people to learn about the research carried out in UPS.
