The VIII Latin American Congress on Mechanical Engineering came to an end
The VIII Latin American Congress on Mechanical Engineering organized by and held at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana was a great success. More than 850 participants were greatly satisfied with the topics that were covered during the event where they talked about new the tendencies in technology and research in mechanical engineering.
Renowned speakers presented keynote speeches such as "Mechanism design for robots" presented by Marco Ceccarelli, PhD in Applied Mechanics, from Italy; "Dynamics of complex mechanical systems" presented by Mihir Sen, professor in the department of aerospace and mechanics at Notre Dame University; "Performance assessment of electrical vehicles" by José Ignacio Huertas, PhD from the University of Washington; "Robust design of auto parts" by Carlos Miranda from Venezuela who holds a PhD from the Wessex Technology Institute in England.

The Bolivarian society of Mechanical Engineering announced that the 2016 congress on mechanical engineering will be held at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, Colombia.
