The ceremony was presided by UPS-Guayaquil Vice President Andres Bayolo, who was also accompanied by Angela Flores, Academic Coordinator, Priscila Paredes, Director of postgraduate studies, and other university directors.

During the ceremony, UPS officials paid tribute to Diana Huera Cuzco (+), an accounting student who unfortunately passed away last January due to a serious illness. The university degree was awarded to her parents Fausto Huera and Nancy Cuzco.

There were also special recognitions for students with the best grade point averages; Karen Rodriguez Chávez from accounting and Victoria Guzman Villamar from the Youth Cultures specialization.
