The Pope´s visit to Guayaquil meant a time of faith, work, solidarity and love; 30 UPS students and professors from the Pastoral department in Guayaquil where there, as volunteers, to help people who attended the Pope's visit at Parque de los Samanes.

The volunteers started helping people on Sunday the 5th at 6pm, since that's when people started arriving to the park. They helped people with disabilities with medical care, water and other needs. Their work ended the following day, July 6th, at 6pm. The Scouts UPS 16, Misioneros de Sonrisas, ELFU and the Salesiano Juvenil Group were also there to help during this worthy cause. 

The Pope's message during mass was "The best is yet to come", and this is the message that will remain in the hearts and minds of those who attended.
