Juan Pablo Salgado, head of research at our university, visited the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel) to learn more about their work system and strengthen inter institutional collaboration in entrepreneurship. 

The meeting is based on participating stakeholders such as universities, companies, the government and related agencies. 

It is worth noting that Israel is a leader in entrepreneurship ecosystems, it is a public policy throughout the country.   

For some time now, Ecuador has worked on creating an ecosystem that integrates the abovementioned stakeholders. Our university is a pioneer in the use of this research and entrepreneurship model and it continuously works with students in the Coworking StartUPS office.

“This meeting ends a process that started 7 years ago in order to create this ecosystem, it is also a starting point to create synergy among stakeholders of the ecosystem”, stated Juan Pablo Salgado.
