Our branch campus in Guayaquil awarded several prizes to the winners of the "MITutorialUPS" competition which was organized by the university's salesian group "UPS Channel TV". 
For the competition, students had to create audiovisual products explaining projects they had worked on in class, projects which are useful for real life professional settings.

35 students from different undergraduate programs took part in the competition. Firstly, six videos were chosen and then put on YouTube on "UPS Channel Tv" in order for people to choose their favorite. 
 

Raul Alvarez, vice president of our campus in Guayaquil, said "I am pleasantly surprised that the winners of the competition are engineering students, it deserves double recognition, they were able to represent their work through an audiovisual product."

David Patiño, first place winner, said the competition allowed him to use technical knowledge learned in class and share it through a video. 

The idea is now to organized this competition every semester and show the community what students are capable of doing at the university.
