The university’s branch in Quito invites you to attend the workshop titled “Alternative Methodologies of Dance Fusion” which is being organized by the Applied Anthropology and Psychology majors and the Culture Studies Research Group. 

The aim of this workshop is to link the knowledge of dance in the academic field and the community by creating spaces to talk to dancers from different geographical and social places.

There will be two activities during this event: a round table titled “Dance as a resource of research” and the workshop “Fundamentals of the Oriental Therapeutic Dance method”. The following specialists will be attending this event: Patricia Passo, professor in Universidad Rey Juan Carlos España; Lorena Campos, UPS professor and researcher; Silvia Tamayo, from the Arabic dance workshop from Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana; Tatiana Bichara, IAEN and Nala María Palys from PUCE.

The course-workshop costs $30. Register from the 9th to the 17th of January.
