Conferences: New technologies in mechanical engineering

The New Materials and Transformation Processes Research Group (GiMaT for its acronym in Spanish) and the mechanical engineering undergraduate program from the university’s branch campus in Cuenca invite you to join the online conferences which will focus on “New technologies in mechanical engineering for the country’s productivity growth”
 
The aim of the conferences is to present advances in the field of mechanical engineering as well as different alternatives for the country’s economic recovery. There will be different topics led by experts in the field. 
 
Topic: "Eficiencia energética en las Industrias Ecuatorianas 
 
Speakers: 
 
- Paulo Gonzalo Peña Toro Ph.D – Founder of Advice Energy company. 
 
- Nelson Jara Ph.D – Professor in the mechanical engineering undergraduate program and researcher of the GID-STD Group- Universidad Politécnica Salesiana.   
 
Topic: "Avances en investigación en Mecánica Computacional de Materiales” 
 
Speakers: 
 
- Josep Costa Ph.D – Professor at Universidad de Girona, Director of the AMADE research group. 
 
Topic: "Impresión 3D como método de fabricación Industria” 
 
Speakers: 
 
- Santiago Ferrándiz Ph.D - Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in the area of production processes. 
 
- Miguel Fernandez Ms.C.- from The Manufacturing Technology Centre in the UK 
 
- Cristian Cobos Ms.C. - Professor in the mechanical engineering undergraduate program and researcher of the GiMaT research group
